Daily Activities Every Mom Could Do

Every mom is a teacher, that is a quote that I read when starting homeschooling that really stuck with me. And it is so true, there are so many things we teach our kids that we don't even consider schooling and with out even trying. Here are some more things you can do.

• Turning baby care into "Home Economics and Child Development" learning
• Reading
• Practice learning letters, numbers, and spelling
• Incorporate quiet play time into the day for 1-2 hours (ages 3 and up)
• Have school time only toys
• Listen to different styles of music
• Learn a foreign language with a child
• Read about topics like Trees, grass, flowers, buildings
• Complete puzzles
• Teach 3 year olds and older how to make toast, pour milk, cereal, and to open a can
